The class will explore different forms including sculpture, with the end results being smoke firing. The unique process of preparing the pots with terra sigillata for the bisque firing and then the smoke firing will be an important part of this class.
A section will also be spent on a verbal discussion of pit firing where, like Smoke firing, the terra sigillata plays a very important role in the outcome.
